Buy-Out Secures Successul Future

Kevan Shaw led the Castle Square Corporate Finance team in negotiating the successful Management Buy-Out of the Global business of Bestoell Valves and Conflow from, Parent Company, The Flow Group.

The deal involved the Directors Mark Henley, John Waddington and Marie Bellamy completing a private equity backed MBO, bringing the UK businesses, together with their US & Indian based subsidiaries, under the new parent company President Engineering Group Limited.

Debt funding comprised of acquisition finance and working capital facilities from Royal bank of Scotland and a debt funding package from Citizens Bank of the USA.

Conflow is renowned the world over as the leading supplier of specialist components and systems for dust suppression, fire suppression and all aspects of water control in underground mining. Bestobell Valves is one of the world’s leading suppliers of cryogenic valves to the industrial gas and downstream LNG industries. The funding will support the Group’s global growth and product development plans.
