Winning Deal

The team at Castle Square Corporate Finance are celebrating, following their recent success at the prestigious annual South Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards.

The Firm scooped the much sought after Deal of The Year Award, for its role in the Management Buy Out of the Business Units of Sheffield based Bestobell Valves and Conflow, via a Management Buy Out from parent Company, The Flow Group.

Bestobell Valves is a global business, manufacturing high performance valves for the oil and gas industry and exporting products worldwide, while Conflow is the world leading brand in providing safety solutions for underground mining operations.

Castle Square acted for the Management Team and their Management Buy Out Vehicle, President Engineering Group, negotiating the transaction price and structure, delivering the necessary transaction funding and project managing the deal through the legal and tax processes, through to successful completion, in what was a six month project.

Castle Square Corporate Finance was also a nominated finalist in the Lead Advisory Firm of the Year and Deal Making Firm of the Year categories and Director Kevan Shaw was a nominated Finalist in Lead Advisor of the Year and was shortlisted in the last three for Overall Deal Maker of the year, an award contested by the Individuals involved in the Lead Advisory, Corporate Banking and Corporate Legal specialisms.
